Who we are

Casa Nopales is a peaceful retreat for those who appreciate architecture, design, raw nature and coastal beauty, while remaining within reach of Oaxaca’s rich culture. Designed for guests seeking privacy, stillness, and connection to nature, the experience is intentionally immersive and exclusive. Open terraces, salt-water infinity pool, sweeping ocean and mountain views, natural materials blur the boundary between inside and out, while the remote setting offers rare seclusion.

This is more than a luxury rental—it's a model of responsible, sustainable tourism. Entirely ecological and self-sustaining, the property attracts travelers seeking privacy, meaning, and immersion in untouched nature. While luxurious, we maintain an operational focus on sustainability and respect for the environment. Situated in a turtle nesting sanctury, the house is 100% ecological and self sustaining.

Architecture

Studio Font

A sculptural oceanfront retreat where raw concrete, natural textures, and dramatic light meet the untamed beauty of the surrounding nature. Influences from architectural masters—Le Corbusier’s purity, Ando’s quiet luminosity, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic harmony—shape a design that feels both elemental and serene, layered with the owner’s love of contrast and the elemental beauty of wild nature. Drawing inspiration from poetic minimalism and the principles of indoor–outdoor living, the structure becomes a canvas for light and landscape, changing throughout the day as sun, shadow, ocean, and landscape interact with the architecture.
